Devlog 1


 First update time!

 I’ve been working on the game over the last two weeks and have a couple of things to share.

 First are the updates to the demo:

  • The font has been changed to improve cohesion with the game’s overall character
  • The colours in menu text has been changed to (hopefully) improve readability
  • Julie and the protagonist have coloured names to help with distinction
  • A cool new transition for the two current ends (the sound effect needs improvement, but I’m pretty proud of myself.
  • Minor improvements here and there

 In other achievements, I’ve finished the bases for more of Julie’s planned expressions. The header image of this very devlog is one. 

The script is going well. Branching narratives are a new medium for me, so it’s a bit slow going so far. I’m hoping to get into the swing of things soon.

 That said, the first choice and its options have been written and I’ve got drafts for the planned additional endings.

 I will continue working hard and updating you guys on my progress.
